RE: 1-27-2026 ANNUAL ELECTION DINNER
I would like to welcome everyone to another New Year at the WRBC.
This is a reminder for everyone that our Annual Election Dinner will
be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. It will be held at the Whiting
American Legion, Post 80, 121st Street & Indianapolis Blvd., across
from the Walgreens parking lot on the corner. Cocktails will be at
6:00 PM, and as a reminder, it will be a cash bar. Dinner will be
served at 6:30 PM, and the meeting will follow.
Please do not park in the Walgreens parking lot, for they will tow
your car at your expense.
American Legion, Post 80 has generously offered to not charge us
anymore for our hall rental. Thank you to the Legion for this offer.
Everyone should have received a letter in the mail about the
Election Dinner and the times. If you can, it would be greatly
appreciated to respond with the enclosed form in the letter as
to if you are going to attend. You can mail these responses to
the Whiting-Robertsdale Boat Club, P. O. Box 749,
Whiting, IN 46394 or call Bob Mehok directly at 219-644-9454.
This is important so that we know an approximate number on
how much food to order.
Also, if you can, please bring a dessert.
In addition, Adi Cruz from the City of Whiting again this year
will attend the Election Dinner to pass out parking stickers to
members after you pay your club dues.

RE: 2-8-2026 SUPERBOWL PARTY
This year the Superbowl Party will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026
at the WRBC building in Whiting Park. It will start at 3PM.
A few volunteers would be needed to help set up.
As in the past, there will be food & snacks provided.
Drinks are on you.
Desserts and snacks that you could provide would be appreciated.
There will be squares available at $5 per square.
Anyone who hasn't paid for this event, the price will be $10 at
the door. That will include food, snacks & one free square.
As in the past, this party has proved to be a big success and a
lot of fun for everyone.

RE: 2-24-2026 COLLECTION FOR FOOD PANTRY AT MEETING
This is just a reminder that as in the past, we will be collecting food
at the Feb. 24, 2026 meeting for the Whiting-Robertsdale food pantry.
I will have a list of items that have been requested from the pantry.
They need more than non-perishable food items and as always
monetary donations are appreciated. Please be as generous as
you can.
