COMMODORES UPDATE: WHITING 4TH OF JULY PARADE 2024 AND BOAT CLUB BUILDING & GROUNDS CLEAN-UP

 RE:    WHITING 4TH OF JULY PARADE

As we have done in the past, any member interested in putting their boat or jet ski in the Whiting 4th of July Parade this year is encouraged to do so. 

We have banners that you can use to help decorate.

You will need a permit. You will also need to buy some throw-able candies for the kids in the crowds. The boat club will reimburse you for any out-of-pocket costs including the permit.

RE:    BOAT CLUB BUILDING CLEAN-UP

We will be conducting our annual building and grounds clean-up on Saturday, June 22, 2024, starting at 11AM.  As you know, we do this every year to keep our club pristine.

We will definitely need quite a few volunteers to help get this done.

Even if you can only come for a short time, please pitch in and help us keep our building and grounds clean.

Food will be provided.

Hope to see a bunch of you on Saturday for the clean-up.

RE:    CHANGE TO CLUBS MEETING TIME

On our last meeting on February 27, 2024, it was purposed to change our meeting start time from 7PM to now 6:30PM.  This proposal was put to a vote as by our By-Laws and the results were a majority vote to accept the proposal of a 6:30PM meeting start time.

Effective immediately our new start time for our monthly meetings will be held at 6:30PM.

Please make note of this.

RE:    MARCH MEETING HELD AT CLUB BUILDING

March meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 will be held at our boat club building weather permitting at 6:30PM.

If there is extreme weather, we will again meet at American Legion, Post 80 in Whiting.

If you still have not paid your annual Membership Dues 2024,

please do so as soon as possible.  You have till April to make

payment. You can pay your dues at the March meeting or you
