RE: WRBC DOCK PARTY ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 AT 2PM
Just a quick reminder that this year's dock party will be held on
Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2PM, and will be held at the
boat club building by the Whiting Park Whihala Beach parking lot.
This year's City of Whiting's Empanada Fest will be held on the
same day as our dock party. The city has guaranteed reserved
parking for our dock party membership and guests in the lot in
front of our club house.
There will be free parking passes at the boat club for anyone who
does not have a Whiting Park parking sticker. You have to enter
into the park at the 117th Street Park entrance to avoid the
Empanada Fest, which will be held at the other end of the park.
I am requesting a few volunteers to help show up at around noon
for set up and corn patrol.
If you haven't yet, please get your raffle tickets and attendance
sheets in as soon as possible, so we can have a better head
count to order the right amount of food.
We are asking for salads and desserts, which are always
appreciated.
Hope to see everyone there again for a great time.

RE: BEACH & PARK CLEAN-UP ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2025 AT 10AM
Our 2nd Annual Beach and Park Clean-Up of this year 2025 will
again, be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10AM.
As always, buckets and bags will again be provided. There will
also be refreshments provided after the beach clean-up.
Steve Arnham will again be coordinating once again with the
Surfriders Foundation. Please donate a couple hours of your time.
Let's have another good turn out and keep our park and beach
clean and safe.
Thank you.

RE: KIDS FISHING DAY - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2025 AT 9AM
This will be our 11th Annual Kids Fishing Day which will be held on
Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Hammond Marina starting
at 9AM.
As I have said in the past, this is one of the greatest events that
this club has ever put together and we do need a lot of volunteers
to make this event run smoothly and successfully.
So please, if you can donate some of your valuable time, meet
in the Hammond Marina at 8AM, just past the boat launch, to
help set up and educate the children of our future fishing sport.
As in the past, food, drinks and snacks will be provided, as
prizes also for every child participating.
There is a volunteer sign up sheet at the boat club building,
or you can contact Jim Madison at 219-845-8137 if you are
willing to help.
Thank you in advance,
Mike Hill
