RE:    CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR RICK STACK

As was voted on and approved at our last meeting, we will be holding a
celebration of life for our Vice-Commodore Rick Stack, that was requested
by his children, Josh and Lindsey to be held on June 7, 2025 at 11AM to
2PM at the boat club building in Whiting Park.

Anyone who would like to attend is welcome.

RE:    EMERGENCY DREDGING OF HARBOR IN WHITING PARK

To my knowledge, there will be an emergency dredging of our harbor.
There was an independent company that evaluated and did a sounding of
the harbor. I don't have any dates or details as to when this dredging may
occur, but hopefully it will open the harbor up to allow launching.

In the interim, I met with the Harbor Master at the Hammond Marina, and
he is giving the WRBC permission to launch from the Hammond Marina.
He has a current WRBC membership list and has required that any member
from the boat club show their membership card for 2025 to gain free access
to launch.

Thank you for your cooperation, and again, a reminder do not get into an
argument if you are turned away at the entrance gates. Simply pay or leave,
and contact me at 219-937-2211, and we will resolve the issue.

RE:     COAST GUARD AUXILIARY FREE VESSEL INSPECTION

This year's vessel inspection will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025
starting at 10AM at the Boat club parking area. It is open to any and all
members and public for any vessel, boat, jet ski, sailboat, etc. for
safety inspection. This is for everyone safety.  Stickers for your
vessel will be administered by the coast guard.

Please let's get a good turn out as these Coast Guard Volunteers
all receive credit for every vessel inspected.

As in the past, food and drinks will be provided by the boat club.

RE:    ANNUAL WHITINIG FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION DRIVE

At this meeting, as we have done in years past, we are asking all
members to please be generous and contribute as much as you can
to the Whiting Food Pantry.  They not only need nonperishable food
items but have also requested items such as:  Paper Towels, Toiletries,
Diapers, Wipes, Canned Goods, Cleaning Products, Dish, Hand &
Body Soap, Deodorant, Coffee, Tea, Syrup, Flour, Sugar, Pasta, Dry
Beans, Spaghetti Sauce, Oatmeal, Toothpaste, etc.  We will also be
collecting monetary donations.  There are many families who depend
on organizations like this.  Please be as generous as you possibly can.
